Friday 2004-03-12 - Amsterdam, the Netherlands
New passportBack to the Amsterdam city office to pick up my brand new thick passport. To my surprise the color photograph I delivered has been turned into a black-and-white picture in the passport. Interesting, since for some of the visa applications a color photograph is specified, and my old passport had a color photo as well.

…is that in the picture at the top? The pictures are chosen randomly from a collection of portraits I gathered on previous trips in Asia. Since I'll be in those areas again, they set the atmosphere nicely.
