This whole site is being moved to a shiny new server - as are all my sites, in fact. Apologies for the bumpy road ahead, but at the end of that road things will become fast and smooth.

Good news

Carla called with good news yesterday: both she and her sister will come! The bad news is that Gwendolyn’s boss still needs to give his official permission. Another phone call to Koning Aap is enough to extend our option to 1 March. They also tell me that if we want an extension (for our Kathmandu Valley hike) we should indicate that with our booking: that’s not only more efficient but cheaper as well.

Hiking

Yesterday I sent an email to Marie Josee, and today I already have her reply: since both Carla and me want to stay in the Kathmandu Valley a week’s extension of the trip should be sufficient. She’s looking forward to it, too!
